Yes, six doctors were among the eight arrested in the UK after two failed bombing attacks on June 29 and 30, 2007, in London and Glasgow. Amazing who can be radicalized!

Doctors arrested in Britain: Belal Abdulla, 27, Iraqi; Mohammed Asha, 26, Jordanian neurosurgeon, ring leader; Kafeel Ahmed; Sabeel Ahmed. Two other doctors were implicated, including one in Australia.

From The Guardian:

"The home secretary, Jacqui Smith, told the Commons that 19 addresses had now been searched as part of the fast-moving inquiry. She said: "It is through our unity that the terrorists will eventually be defeated. The fact that people have been prepared to go about their lives as normally as possible this weekend sends the strongest message to those who wish to destroy our way of life and our freedoms that we will not be intimidated by terror."

The investigation continues.

British citizens are not training for medical careers at sustainable levels. Foreign doctors are taking up the slack. This issue will no doubt now be taken seriously with a new prime minister in charge.
